What data is collected and why?

We collect data from conversations, feedback, questionnaires, and knowledge base browsing for quality assurance purposes. The chat conversations are not used 'as is' for the chatbot development. Instead, conversations are used to monitor chatbot performance and to understand the types of questions users have, what kind of support they need and what type of information they are looking for. The data we collect is to improve and train the AinoAid™ chatbot and the knowledge base and better serve the users by analysing what type of content is most read to improve the knowledge base.


The data can also be used to train violence professionals and to develop and improve services; e.g., feedback and questionnaires provide insights for improving the services. We don't trace or follow individual users; the data is anonymous. We store chat discussions in the secure Microsoft Azure Cosmos Database.


We do not store the user's device's IP or MAC address. We automatically delete any personally identifiable information that might have been part of the chat discussion. We may collect non-personal information, such as timestamps and user feedback, to improve our services.
