Fundacion de Solidaridad Amaranta is a private, non-profit foundation established by the Congregation of the Religious Adorers in 2006. Its main objective is to provide support and promote the social inclusion and empowerment of women and adolescent girls affected by social exclusion and different forms of violence against women. We provide comprehensive support through a human rights-based approach that incorporates gender and child-rights perspectives.
This support is provided through both a Network of Safe and Protected Accommodation and Social Support Centres.
- Network of safe and protected accommodation: a network of accommodation facilities for women, either alone or with children, who lack their own accommodation resources or need an alternative housing option to begin a process of personal recovery and social inclusion. They address both basic care needs and provide support throughout each person's recovery and inclusion process, using an empowering approach that promotes women's autonomy and independence.
- Social Support Centres: comprehensive support is also provided at social support centres when women have their own independent accommodation.
Fundacion Amaranta has local offices and support services in different regions and provinces of Spain.
